Hi all, please share your views on what makes a good putter and what to look out for when choosing one ( there are so many types eg. mallet, blade etc). And do you think a good putter is important? Cos am thinking of changing Idea

Thanks

Tried a friend's putter today - there is indeed an immediate marked difference - ball went into the hole effortlessly! It could either be luck or suddenly I became very brilliant or it could be the PUTTER! Very Happy

Hmm... My 2 cents worth opinion
I think unlike Irons and Drivers, the putter is a very individualistic and personal thingy. bounce
There are many many different designs and weightage proportions to putters in the market Shocked , I feel that if the putter makes you feel like you putt better or easier then that's properly the one which is suitable for you. Very Happy
